How Nepal Visa on Arrival Works

Complete the Form

Complete the Arrival Card and the online tourist visa application. The official system can be used before arrival, while kiosks are also available at Tribhuvan International Airport.

Pay the Visa Fee

Pay the applicable tourist visa fee and retain your payment receipt or confirmation for the immigration process.

Visit Immigration

Present your passport, application information and payment evidence at the immigration desk for visa processing.

Who Cannot Get Visa on Arrival?

The current Department of Immigration information states that nationals of the following countries are not eligible for Visa on Arrival and must obtain the appropriate visa in advance:

Cameroon
Ethiopia
Ghana
Iraq
Liberia
Nigeria
Palestine
Somalia
Swaziland / Eswatini
Syria
Zimbabwe
