How to Apply for a Nepal Tourist Visa
1. Check eligibility.
Confirm whether you can obtain a visa on arrival or need to apply
through a Nepalese diplomatic mission in advance.
2. Complete the application.
Use the official Nepal immigration online system and make sure your
passport details are entered exactly as they appear on your passport.
3. Prepare your documents.
Carry your valid passport and any supporting documents required for
your circumstances.
4. Pay the applicable fee.
The current standard tourist visa fees are USD 30, USD 50 and
USD 125 for 15, 30 and 90 days respectively.
5. Complete immigration formalities.
Present your application information, payment evidence and passport
at the relevant immigration counter.
Visa Exemptions and Special Categories
Nepal provides free or special visa arrangements for certain categories, including qualifying SAARC citizens, certain children, Chinese nationals and NRN card holders. Conditions vary by nationality and category.
